Why Dolphins?

The dolphin is a symbol of joy, of being able to ‘go with the flow’ of life. It is significant that they are mammals that live in water because water and the oceans are symbolic of our deeper emotions and the immense ocean of life. Dolphins dive to a depth of over 1000ft and can jump up to 20ft out of the water. Dolphins play, leap, twist and turn in these waters, and so they represent the ability for us to release limitations, and then accept and enjoy our deeper spiritual nature. They are wonderful, intelligent creatures, and “see” with sounds, and have that characteristic smile. This metaphor where the symbol of the dolphin promotes a connection with laughter, joyful release and the ability to give of yourself freely to others is my passion.
